HOLY SHIT.

I AM SO FRUSTRATED WITH STUPID KAY JEWELERS! OK, SO THE END OF SEPTEMBER THEIR CORPORATE OFFICE AND THE STORE HERE LOCALLY TELLS ME THAT THEY WILL "NOT" MAKE ME WAIT FOR MY ORIGINAL WATCH TO COME BACK FROM THEIR REPAIR DEPT. THEY CONFIRMED WITH ME THAT I WILL RECEIVE A VOUCHER. THE VOUCHER IS BASICALLY A CHECK THAT IS WRITTEN OUT IN MY NAME ALONG SIDE WITH KAY JEWELERS IN THE AMOUNT OF THE PRICE I PAID FOR THE WATCH. I ASKED WHY I WAS GETTING A VOUCHER. THEY BOTH SAID BECAUSE MOVADO WAS OUT OF STOCK ON THE PARTS AND IT WOULD TAKE MORE THAN 3 MONTHS TO RECEIVE MY WATCH. THAT WOULD'VE MADE IT MORE THAN 7 MONTHS THAT THEY WOULD HAVE MY WATCH IN THEIR POSSESSION.

SO THEY TOLD ME IN JULY/AUGUST THAT THE PART WAS OUT OF STOCK TOO. SO WHAT DID I DO? YOU'RE DAMN RIGHT I CALLED THE PARTS DEPARTMENT OF MOVADO GROUP. I DO HAVE THE ACCESS TO DO SO SINCE I WORK FOR ANOTHER RETAIL JEWELRY STORE THAT SELLS MOVADO WATCHES! HAHAHAHA. I SPOKE TO A MAN THE FIRST TIME, HE SAID THE PARTS WERE IN STOCK. HMMMM.....PARTS IN STOCK WOULD NORMALLY MEAN THAT MY WATCH SHOULD'VE BEEN FIXED AND RETURNED TO ME. ALSO I CALLED AGAIN ON NOV.9TH, AND THE REP TOLD ME THEY WERE NOW OUT OF STOCK AS OF OCT. 30TH! OOOOOOO..........CAN WE SAY I WAS PISSED?!!!!

THEY'VE HAD MY WATCH THE WHOLE DAMN TIME AND LIED TO ME TWICE! OH YEAH. I HAVE A WHOLE ENTIRE LIST AND CALL LOG I'VE LODGED COMPLAINTS WITH THEIR HOME OFFICE. IT STARTS ALL THE WAY BACK TO AUGUST WHEN THEY STARTED DICKING WITH ME. I KNOW WHO I SPOKE TO AND WHAT WE DISCUSSED. SO THERE WAS ONE BITCH BY THE NAME OF TERRY, FINALLY I GOT A HOLD OF HER SINCE EVERYONE APPARENTLY KNOWS MY NAME AND HOW PISSED I AM AND THEY WOULDN'T TALK TO ME ABOUT THE SITUATION. I HAD MY HUSBAND ON THE OTHER CORDLESS PHONE, (I THINK HE THINKS THAT I FLUFF THE WHOLE STORY ABOUT HOW BAD IT REALLY IS.) AND SPEAKING TO TERRY, SHE TELLS ME THAT THEIR CORPORATE OFFICE WILL NOW "NOT" HONOR THEIR PROMISE OF REPLACING MY WATCH. I TOLD HER THEN THEY WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR PAYING FOR A NEW APPRAISAL ON MY WATCH THEN. SHE SAID NO WAY. UHHH, SINCE THEY PROMISED ME A NEW WATCH, I TOLD MY STATE FARM INSURANCE TO TAKE THE WATCH OFF OF MY POLICY SINCE I WILL NO LONGER OWN IT. (SERIAL NUMBER ON THE BACK OF THE WATCH). SHE TOLD ME "WELL WE DIDN'T TELL YOU TO DESTROY YOUR DOCUMENTS." WHY THE HELL WOULDN'T I? IT'S NO DIFFERENT THAN A VIN # ON A CAR TO TRACE THE RIGHTFUL OWNER! PLUS, LET'S JUST SAY THAT I DID GET A NEW WATCH, THEY CAN RE-SELL MY ORIGINAL WATCH TO SOMEONE ELSE. NOW IF THEY DECIDE TO PAWN IT, OR IF IT WERE STOLEN, THE SERIAL # WOULD BE REGISTERED TO ME.

THEN I ASKED TERRY WHAT HAPPENS IF SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH MY WATCH AFTER I RECEIVE IT BACK. HER EXACT WORDS WERE: "OH WELL, YOU WILL BE RESPONISIBLE FOR ALL OUT OF POCKET REPAIRS THEN." I TOLD HER TO PUT THAT IN WRITING, SHE SAID FINE. SO THEN MY HUSBAND SAYS THAT'S A BUNCH OF CRAP. OOH I DON'T THINK SHE LIKED THE FACT I HAD A WITNESS ON THE PHONE. SHE THEN SAID "I THINK I AM GOING TO HANG UP NOW." FUCKING BITCH KNEW SHE WAS CAUGHT. MY HUBBY WAS SO PISSED. HE THEN CALLED OUR ATTORNEY AND SET UP OUR APPOINTMENT TO MEET WITH HIM THE NEXT DAY ON THURSDAY NOV. 9TH.

ON THUSDAY MORNING I CALLED THE CORP. OFFICE BACK AND HAD TO GO THROUGH SEVERAL PEOPLE TO GO OVER MY NOTES OF CALL INS. ONE BITCH WAS KEEPING ME ON THE PHONE FOR 28 MINUTES BECAUSE SHE WANTED TO KNOW WHY SHE WAS SHARING THE NOTES WITH ME. NONE OF YOUR DAMN BUSINESS! HAHA. SO I WAITED UNTIL ABOUT 2:30 WHILE ON MY WAY TO THE ATTORNEY'S OFFICE FOR MY APPT. AT 3PM I CALLED AGAIN. THIS TIME I GOT THE SAME LADY WHO WAS HANDLING MY CLAIM ON MY WEDDING RING THEY DESTROYED OVER A YEAR AGO! SHE WAS LIKE " YOUR NAME SOUNDS SO FAMILIAR." I SAID LAURA, IT'S ME AGAIN! HAHA. NOW OF ALL THE PEOPLE I SPOKE TO ABOUT BOTH ISSUES ON MY JEWELRY, SHE IS BY FAR THE MOST PROFESSIONAL, AND KIND. I TOLD HER AS OF THE PREVIOUS DAY, ALL TERRY HAD TO DO WAS GIVE ME A NEW WATCH, APPRAISAL, AND NEW WARRANTY, WHICH THEY REPEATEDLY PROMISED ME. I TOLD HER I WAS ON MY WAY TO MY ATTORNEY. SHE SAID SHE WOULD TAKE OVER THIS CLAIM ON MY WATCH TO SEE IF SHE COULD PULL ANY STRINGS. WE'LL SEE. I DOUBT IT THOUGH.

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

SO I WILL RETYPE ALL OF MY NOTES FOR THE ATTORNEY AND RECEIPTS. IT SOUNDS LIKE HE WANTS TO TAKE IT TO DISTRICT COURT AND SUE FOR FILING FEES, ATTORNEY FEES, AND REPLACEMENT VALUE OF JEWELRY. RIGHT ON!!! TAKE THAT EVIL KAY JEWELERS! CONSUMERS BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY, LOOK ON THE BBB WEBSITE THEY'VE DICKED PEOPLE OVER BEFORE!!!
