2006 RESOLUTIONS

MY NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTIONS ARE:


LOSE WEIGHT
EXERCISE
DRINK MORE WATER
READ MORE BOOKS
BE A LITTLE NICER ALL AROUND
PAY OFF MORE BILLS
NOT RUN UP MORE BILLS!

I REALLY THINK THESE GOALS CAN BE ATTAINED THROUGH SELF DISCIPLINE. I THINK THAT EVEN IF I DON'T IMMEDIATELY MAKE THE GOALS A BIT MORE STRUCTURED, THEY COULD STILL BE SOMEWHAT MET. AND WHAT I MEAN BY THAT IS IE: WEIGHT LOSS, IF I WERE TO SAY I WANT TO LOSE LIKE 50 LBS, I OBVIOUSLY MAY NOT GET THERE, BUT IF I SAY TO MYSELF I NEED TO LOSE SOME WEIGHT, I KNOW THAT EVEN IF I WERE TO ONLY LOSE 20 LBS, I'M STILL AHEAD. "REALISTICALLY." I THINK! I DON'T WANT TO MAKE AN UN-ACHIEVABLE GOAL.

I THINK LAST YEAR I ONLY READ LIKE 2 BOOKS! I TOTALLY WANT TO STEP THAT UP A LITTLE. I REALLY WANT TO GET LOST IN SOME GOOD BOOKS. I USED TO READ ALL THE TIME, AND HERE AT HOME MY HUSBAND HAS A SMALL LIBRARY OF BOOKS!

I WANT TO DRINK MORE WATER. WHEN MY DOCTOR TOLD ME I HAD CRYSTALS IN MY KIDNEYS, THAT COULD TURN INTO KIDNEY STONES, I WAS SO BUMMED! I DID DRINK A LOT OF WATER, IN MY EYES. SHE ASKED ME TO START OFF I THINK WITH LIKE 32 OZ. I THOUGHT I WAS GONNA DROWN! I BARELY COULD MAKE IT THROUGH 20 OZ! I DON'T WANT TO HAVE THOSE SHARP PAINS IN MY SIDES AGAIN!

I WANT TO PAY OFF THE SMALL BILLS, AND WHEN I DO, I NEED TO KEEP FROM RUNNING THEM BACK UP AGAIN!

I'M GONNA TRY TO BE A LITTLE NICER TO STRANGERS, WHICH I FIND IS HARD! I WILL TRY THOUGH. MAYBE IT WILL MAKE ME A LITTLE MORE HAPPIER. I DOUBT IT, SINCE I HAVE THE IMAGE THAT SOME PEOPLE YOU JUST SHOULDN'T WASTE YOUR TIME ON UNLESS YOU FIND THE RIGHT ONE.

I THINK THAT THESE GOALS CAN BE SOMEWHAT OBTAINABLE. SO HERE GOES!
